Greenheart People
Almost all the people working on projects are unpaid volunteers. Some are engaged in a kind of symbiotic relationship, exchanging their time and energy for food and accommodation, and others receive no more than the satisfaction of working for something they truly believe in. However, since the majority of our projects are designed to eventually 'bear fruit', there is also a possibility to earn money from their work.
Working as closely as possible with the local community and authorities, leveraging the high profile of Ibiza on the international scene and the power of the Internet, we aim at developing a horizontal, non-pyramidal network of human resources. The skills and expertise of the members of the network are valued and used in the most productive and mutually rewarding way: every single participant in a project, like a cell in an organism, only does what he or she likes and does best in an effortless manner, through a precise task assignment scheme. In this way, a high standard of quality can be achieved, whilst putting little stress on the workforce itself.
This is also a way to demonstrate that alternative, non-intensive methods of production are possible, within our expanding international network of professionals: ecologists, web and graphic designers, translators, human resources and public relations specialists, therapists, businessmen, agricultural engineers, market executives, artists, musicians and DJs, etc.
Mostly based in the growing multi-cultural community that Ibiza has become over the last few years, but also working from various other locations, members of the network put their skills at the service of this Project Farm.
